Jade Barry (she/her) is done with third-person bios.
I’m a gathering strategist – I guide organizations on how to thoughtfully bring people together to create, collaborate, and think differently. That means everything from designing powerful events to enabling teams to do their best work.
My chaotic, neurospicy career and hobbies all converged: Running a theatre company, performing in bands, and producing short-films taught me about the tiny details that captivate. Starting a pop-up pizza experience enamored me with the power of food to change hearts. Creating brand identities for organizations instilled a heart for design and resonant messaging. Giving time to progressive causes sparked desire to take action to drive change. Working on and leading data and analytics teams at companies like Victoria’s Secret, Express, and CoverMyMeds/McKesson engaged a passion for the challenges technical teams face and how to infuse creativity into a traditionally logical space.
All of these ingredients came together when I founded an analytics and AI enablement team at a Fortune 10 company alongside my co-conspirator, Dania Ahmed. We went on to build a revolutionary internal conference for hundreds of data practitioners and leaders that has sparked change and forged relationships and has become an annual tradition that evolves each year. Our work is now centered on change management and AI literacy – guiding C-suites and practitioners through this era.
When I'm not bringing folks together, you can find me writing for my band (Roman Minerals), crafting with my kiddos, or making a mess in my kitchen.
